Organic Westlandse Herfst (Brassica oleracea var. Sabellica) kale is a biennial plant that forms a raised, strongly foliage shoot in the first year of cultivation, and releases an inflorescence in the second. The presented variety has strongly curly leaves that form a spreading rosette. The leaves are green with a slightly blue coating. They are perfect for direct fresh consumption in the form of salads or smoothies, as well as after cooking or baking. They can be successfully used for freezing or preserving.

 

The organic certified kale seeds are sown straight into the ground or into pots in summer to prepare the seedling.
