Mary Washington asparagus is a variety characterized by rapid growth and abundant yield. The shoots he produces are simple, thick and soft. They take a dark green color in a slightly purple shade. They have an excellent, mild taste, are delicate and slightly crunchy - they are eaten after a short cooking, just like green beans. Before sowing, soak the seeds of the offered variety for 3-5 days. Sowing for inspection is possible in early spring, on the seedbed in turn - in the second half of spring. The optimal spacing is 10x30 cm in the first year of cultivation and 30x80 cm in the second year.

Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis) is a perennial temperate climate plant, hardy, easy to grow, although still not very popular. It is valued for its extraordinary taste. Asparagus tips also contain about 5-6% dry matter, 1.6-1.8% protein, phosphorus, calcium and iron salts as well as vitamin C (26-30 mg%), B1, B2 and nicotinic acid. They are therefore nutritionally valuable, yet low in calories and easily digestible.

The packaging contains 2 grams of Mary Washington asparagus seeds.
