We include it among the early varieties. It fruits at lower temperatures. This does not mean, however, that it is resistant to frost - unlike other watermelons, it is able to grow with less heat, but negative temperatures are deadly for it. It is characterized by large fruit with a dark green skin, which reaches approx. 3-4 kg in weight, and sweet, dark pink-red flesh. Rosario watermelon is recommended for growing both under cover and in the ground. The position he prefers is a sheltered, sunny place with fertile and moist soil. Seeds should be sown in late April and May into pots and placed in rooms where the temperature oscillates between 22 - 24 degrees. The seedling should go to the ground at the end of May. The turn of August and September is the moment when we can enjoy the fruit harvest. The variety is popular due to the low environmental requirements and ease of cultivation and high resistance.
