Garden pink (Dianthus plumarius) is a perennial carpet plant ideal for rock gardens. It produces rosettes of narrow gray-green leaves that grow into loose clumps. Reaches a height of about 30 cm. In summer, flower shoots sprout above the leaf cushions. The full flowers with jagged petals have an intense yet pleasant fragrance. They appear singly at the tops of flower stems and may be white to pink in color. It is an ideal plant for sunny beds and flower beds, it can also be grown in containers on balconies and terraces. Blue-green leaf cushions decorated with delicate flowers will look beautiful on rockeries, walls or paths.

At the end of spring, we sow the seeds of the pinnate cloves directly into the ground. In mid-autumn, the seedlings can be transplanted to a permanent place, where they will bloom in the next summer. This species prefers a well-drained substrate, moderately rich in nutrients, slightly acidic to alkaline. It thrives best in soils rich in calcium. When planted in a sunny and warm place, it will bloom for a long time and profusely.
