Oregano 200 Seeds
Oregano 200 Seeds
Oregano is a perennial plant that can grow to about 40-50 cm in height. It is closely related to garden marjoram, characterized by ovate, crooked leaves, and scarlet flowers gathered in apical corymbs. Oregano is a honey plant, each part of which smells extremely aromatic. We can cultivate it from seeds in the garden, in a place with free access to sunlight. The soil should be moderately moist and well-drained. This plant has a very high tolerance to freezing temperatures, so its presence in the ground is not endangered during the winter months. The plant is used, inter alia, as a spice, in the form of a dried herb. Good quality oregano should have a bitter taste and a spicy aroma. It is used for seasoning e.g. tomatoes, zucchini, soups. Perfectly improves the taste of pizza, eggs, meats, fish, cheese and vegetable salads. Its health properties are well-known, among which we can mention, for example, anti-inflammatory action or prevention of diarrhea. The herbal infusion is used to stimulate the appetite, improve digestion, and it is also used in inflammation of the respiratory tract. Oregano grown on the windowsill in the kitchen is an opportunity to take advantage of the richness of its properties at any time, as well as an opportunity to warm up the interior design with a living plant.
The package contains 0.5 grams of seeds which is about 200 seeds.
