Ratibida is a perennial plant from the Asteraceae family with straight, slightly overlapping shoots ending in long-blooming yellow or mahogany brown inflorescences. He can reach a height of about 70 - 90 cm. It begins to bloom in the second year of cultivation, from August until the onset of frost. It is important to choose the right date for sowing seeds, which in the case of this plant should take place under cover, in the spring, from April to May. The optimal position for growing ratibida is a warm and sunny place with well-drained, light soil with moderate fertility and humidity. The plant shows high frost resistance, sufficient for trouble-free wintering in the ground in the Polish climate zone. It is used, among others, for planting perennial beds and naturalistic gardens as well as for cut flowers. With compositions with other plants, it can give really great results. Valued for its unique inflorescences, it will certainly be a great variety to the garden, which will be hard to pass by indifferently.
The package contains 0.5 grams of seeds.
