Dill Szmaragd is a variety with a high yield of green mass, intended for green harvesting and fermentation. Aromatic, distinguished by its resistance to drought.
Fennel seeds are sown at the beginning of March, the plant is doing well in fertile and sufficiently moist soils. The ideal temperature for seeds to germinate is 10oC. The sowing period lasts until the end of August. After about 30 days from sowing the seeds, it is worth taking a break and leaving the seedlings at a distance of 3x20 cm. Dill reaches maturity in May, i.e. after about 60 days after sowing. By systematically sowing seeds during the season, the harvesting period can be extended until the end of September.
A perfect variety as an addition to all kinds of dishes, salads, sandwiches, salads and as a seasoning.
