Zinnia seeds should be sown in sunny positions with fertile and moist soil. Zinnia comes from America, therefore it is not frost-resistant. Therefore, if we plan to cultivate it in the ground, we should be patient and only plant the plants during a safe period for them, i.e. when the morning frosts do not surprise the unsuspecting zinnia (usually at the end of May).
